ESco Expands

Following a successful 2016 with a number of new publishing clients bringing their subscription files to ESco, including Dods, Bloomsbury and First News, we have been expanding our amazing customer service and account management teams with some really good people.  Welcome, Wes, Gary, Hannah, Sophie, William, Federica, Claire, Connor… to name a few!

More people need more space so what to do?  Well eleven years ago when we moved into Trinity House, we still stored lots of directories, yearbooks and other stock for our clients so we’d designed Trinity House with warehousing to cope with this need.  Firstly, however, these products moved to CD format, saving space and more recently most of these information products have moved online, thus saving even more space.

The timing is good and our application to convert some of our surplus warehousing to office space has been approved and we’re currently going through the tender process with potential builders to complete the conversion.

This will provide another circa 1500 square feet at first floor level, just next door to the Account Management and IT teams and will include a separate office for the FAT team (sorry guys, we all know this is an acronym for the Finance and Admin Team) and a meeting/training room as well as desk space for up to thirty people.  So plenty of room to expand into for the next few years at least.  Once we’ve found the right builder we hope to do the conversion this summer and once we move we’ll all have copious amounts of space.
