As a Production and Fulfilment Specialist (machines), you will be a key member of our Production and Fulfilment team. You will be responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of fulfilment machinery, with the focus being on set up and operation of our Kalmar machine. You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients standards, deadlines and requirements are met by always providing a top-quality service.

Your Duties

  • Maintain and efficiently run the fulfilment machinery, ensuring spare parts are readily available and sourced
  • Work closely with the primary support companies/external engineers for our machinery ensuring that regular services are undertaken and taking a lead on resolving any issues relating to the machinery
  • Participate in progress meetings and plan workflow for the machinery
  • Support and assist with the printing side of our business
  • Provide cover, assistance and support for the Warehouse Manager
  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and undertake quality control checks including proofing
  • Work as part of a team, providing the very best quality of work for our clients and for the ultimate benefit of all at ESco

Who are you?

  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong command of the English language
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurised environment
  • Good team player and communicator with great inter-personal skills
  • Excellent IT skills including an aptitude to learn new software packages
  • A willingness to be flexible and carry out extra duties outside normal role
  • Have an up-to-date Forklift License (preferable but not essential)
  • Have your own transport due to our beautiful rural location (car, bike, pony and trap, all modes accepted!)

  • Full or Part Time (20 hours per week minimum)
