ESco Connect was formed out of a desire to connect with our partners in a more practical way; sharing innovation and insight. ESco Connect will create more opportunity for us and our partners to look at the strategic direction we’re heading in and help us to prioritise our development and resources in the right place, where our partners need it most. It has also connected our clients together to share best practice and practical tips on how to grow their business and deal with the challenges that publishers face today.
We have held two very successful ESco Connect events so far, and plan on holding another two in 2019.
March 2018 - GDPR & ESco Update
On Friday 9th March 2018, we had the pleasure of holding the first ESco Connect Event, our GDPR and ESco Update Day, where over fifty of our partners attended.
In the morning Simon from Opt-4 talk on the new GDPR laws introduced on the 25th May 2018 and the afternoon was a mixture of a general update from Team ESco, plus a chance to share ideas with each other during the round-table sessions.
September 2018 - Subscriptions Marketing & ESco Update
Friday 21st September saw our second ESco Connect event focused on Subscriptions Marketing where over 50 friends of ESco heard an inspiring talk from industry professional, Steve Price.
Steve talked to us about subscriptions marketing, the basics, top tips and thinking outside the box. We learned some incredible facts about “The Subscription Economy”, a phrase coined by Tien Tzuo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Zuora. The afternoon brought a whistle-stop tour of the developments that have been taking place at ESco HQ since our last event in March and three round table sessions hosted by industry experts.
