Last week, the ESco team headed back to the PPA Festival for another packed day of insight, innovation, and brilliant conversations across the publishing industry. It also gave us huge pride to return as an event partner for 2026, continuing our long-standing support of an event that brings together so many forward-thinking voices from across publishing.
Representing ESco this year were Louise, Alistair, and Ellie, who spent the day catching up with clients, connecting with industry peers, and soaking up the latest thinking from some of publishing’s biggest voices.
The PPA Festival once again delivered a brilliant mix of insight, discussion, and forward-thinking ideas across the publishing industry. From AI and audience engagement to subscriptions, data, and customer retention, the sessions highlighted how publishers are continuing to evolve in an increasingly competitive and fast-moving landscape. A key takeaway for the team was the balance between embracing new technologies and maintaining authentic audience relationships – something that remains central to successful publishing and closely aligns with the work we do alongside our clients every day.
For Louise, Alistair, and Ellie, the day was also a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and build new relationships across the sector. Events like the PPA Festival are always a valuable reminder of how collaborative and forward-thinking the publishing community continues to be.
And, of course, no PPA Festival would be complete without a few end-of-day networking drinks and plenty of conversations continuing long after the final sessions wrapped up.
A huge thank you to the PPA team for organising another fantastic event. We came away feeling inspired, energised, and excited for what’s next across the industry.
