ESco accredited with Cyber Essentials certification

ESco has just been accredited with Cyber Essentials, a Government backed scheme certifying that we take cyber security seriously.

Even though ESco is an independent business, we don’t spare the expense of doing the job properly. That is why we have invested so much to make sure that we are looking after our clients’ data in a secure way.

We are of course PCI Compliant (for credit card processing) and are a BACS Approved Bureau (for Direct Debit Processing) but rather than resting on our laurels, we have instead worked with security consultants ECSC to achieve Cyber Essentials accreditation, proving that we we have the right systems and processes in place to secure client data.

What is Cyber Essentials?

Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme designed to help protect against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks. Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. Cyber Essentials is designed to prevent these attacks.

It’s great to be recognised by a 3rd party for all the work we do to secure the ESco server environment. Cyber security is such an important part of our business and we will continue to invest in the technologies to secure our clients’ data.
