Sender Policy Framework
Introduction
In order for ESco to send emails on behalf of your domain, a valid Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record needs to be in place. SPF gives domain owners the ability to state who can send emails from their domain.
By adding an SPF record or amending an existing record, you will allow the ESco mail servers to send emails on behalf of your domain.
More information on SPF records and an SPF lookup can be found here.
SPF Record Requirements
ESco is unable to support domain administration tasks for third party domains and therefore require that SPF record addition or amendments should be handled by your domain administrator.
Please add the below text into your current SPF record:
include:escosubs.co.uk
This facilitates the following:
- Bulk email campaigns including but not limited to welcome and renewal communication
- Customer Service communication
- Communication from hosted web services including but not limited to order confirmation and password resets
An example SPF record containing ESco services is as follows:
v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:escosubs.co.uk -all
