Client Relationship Manager

ESco is a passionate publishing & subscription services bureau working for some of the UK’s most prestigious magazine publishers.

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be involved in the day to day management of several client accounts, dealing with paid subscriptions/memberships, free circulation and event databases all held and maintained on the ESco system.

Duties that are included are…

  • To act as the main point of contact for the client; building and maintaining strong relationships
  • To understand publishers’ requirements relating to marketing and financial analyses
  • To work proactively with clients to drive subscription growth
  • To manage and coordinate projects briefed in by the client
  • To meet with clients regularly (via Zoom or face to face) to ensure continual communication
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to build strategies and new processes to improve service for the client and in-house

A suitable candidate will…

  • Understand statistics with the ability to pull together clear and detailed reports
  • Have experience of managing client relationships with excellent communication skills, a high standard of literacy and good command of the English language
  • Have good working knowledge of the Microsoft package and an aptitude to learn new software systems
  • Be diligent, conscientious and well organised with good time management skills
  • Be a strong problem solver with excellent attention to detail
  • Have a team player attitude with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiative
  • Have the ability to multi-task and manage their own workload, prioritising accordingly
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured environment
  • Have their own transport due to rural location of ESco’s offices

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Normal hours would be 9.00 am to 5.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch (except during busy periods when flexible hours will be required)
