Mail Order Processing

This service began handling sales of directories, back issues, posters, CDs etc, though the service can be applied to virtually any product you may wish to sell via mail order.

Beginning with warehousing of your goods, orders can be received by telephone, fax, email/web (either your own webshop or one managed by ESco) and of course, by post.

Orders are processed through our dedicated database system, which also handles subscriptions/circulations, making complete integration of your database possible. Monies are banked daily directly to your own bank accounts, not through ESco’s, and full banking reports forwarded to your own accounts department. Credit Cards are processed daily direct to the merchant banks through an automated authentication system.

Goods are then picked and packed from our warehouse and despatched via a range of available postal and courier services, within agreed timelines established at the outset.

A suite of base reports is available showing all sales activity, although custom reports can be built around your specific needs and requirements to provide all the analyses that you could possibly need.

Complete transactional records of all sales are maintained on the database, facilitating customer service and after-sales follow-up. Promotional activity can also be handled for other products, including cross-selling of mail order items or subscriptions.

All accounts are handled by a minimum of two staff and product/client information is briefed to all staff. This means that all our customer service staff are able to deal with queries providing a quick response. Email addresses can be set up to receive email orders/queries and all these emails are handled through a central point and allocated to relevant staff for priority response.
