From the M25
Leave the M25 at Junction 27 and join the M11 towards Stansted Airport, heading north. Leave the M11 at the Stansted Airport / A120 exit (middle lane at junction 8).
Follow the A120 for about 5-6 miles heading towards Colchester and Great Dunmow. Leave the A120 at the sign for Great Dunmow and follow the signed for the town centre.
At the Tesco roundabout, go straight over and turn left at the next roundabout (signposted left to Dunmow) towards the town centre. You will see the Queen Victoria public house on the right. Take the 2nd left turning after this towards Thaxted and Saffron Walden (& Lord Butler Leisure Centre).
Turn left at the mini roundabout at the bottom of this road. Go straight over the next mini roundabout and take the first turning right towards Finchingfield and Great Bardfield (as you drive down this road, you will see The Angel and Harp public house ahead of you just before the road bears sharply left).
Drive approx six miles into Great Bardfield & turn left at the ’T’ junction in Great Bardfield.
Drive two miles into Finchingfield, over the pond, up the hill past The Red Lion on left and the Church and The Three Tuns on right. After one mile (and driving past the turning to Toppesfield), you will see a signpost to MDPGA. Turn left here.
This is Sculpins Lane (though it is unmarked). Trinity House is the first building on the left, about 400m along. Take the first entrance gate (the second gate approx 80m along is the exit gate).
Deliveries and collections should go to the rear of the office to the warehouse where there is a bell to ring for attention.
Visitors should park (there are normally visitors spaces available at the front of the building) and go to the front entrance lobby. Press the button on the entry intercom for attention.
From Cambridge
Leave Cambridge on A1307, at A11 roundabout turn right onto A11 heading for M11. Come off at the exit signposted Comfort Café (just before joining M11), drive up the slip road on to the roundabout above the A11 and follow signs for A1307 to Haverhill and Colchester. Continue along this road for approximately four miles through Linton and take the turning right to Bartlow.
After approximately one mile, in Bartlow, turn right at the crossroads towards Ashdon.
You will reach Ashdon after about 2 miles; turn left at the junction opposite the Post Office and Village Stores, towards Radwinter.
After approximately three miles, you will come to a crossroads with the Plough Pub on the adjacent corner. Go straight over onto the B1053 towards Great Sampford.
Approximately two and a half miles further, in Great Sampford opposite the church, turn left (still) onto the B1053 to Finchingfield.
After approximately three miles, you will come into Finchingfield. Drive over the pond, up the hill past The Red Lion on left and the Church and The Three Tuns on right. After one mile, you will see a signpost to MDPGA. Turn left here.
