History
ESco Business Services started life in East London in 1984 initially operating as a word processing bureau. The partnership soon acquired clients in the publishing industry through the personal contacts of the partners and this shaped the future development of the business. By 1987, ESco had moved to Finchingfield in rural Essex, into purpose converted agricultural buildings providing office space and warehousing. By October 1995, ESco had become a limited company employing over twenty people.
Over the years, the type of work undertaken extended so that by the year 2000, ESco was offering a full range of subscription and circulation services to publishers. The data preparation, laser print and mailing fulfilment side of the business developed concurrently and today includes both publishing and a wide range of non-publishing clients.
The company currently employs almost sixty staff and in May 2006 moved into new purpose built offices & warehousing allowing for continued further growth.
Particularly rewarding is the fact that the expansion has come about primarily through increased business from existing clients (who once they join, seldom leave) as well as through personal recommendation to new clients.
